BANGLADESH, Sylhet, 27th September 2019 - Apurba’s Software Engineer Aminul Islam presented a paper titled “An Annotated Bangla Sentiment Analysis Corpus” at the 2nd International Conference on Bangla Speech and Language Processing (ICBSLP) 2019. This conference was organized by Department of Computer science and Engineering, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, on 27-28th September, 2019.
This paper presented a fully annotated Bangla corpus specifically targeted for sentiment analysis. This paper described the methodology, data sources, corpus statistics and corpus properties.
ICBSLP 2019 aimed to bring together leading national and international academicians, researchers and scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all the aspects of Bangla Speech and Language Processing, and to discuss challenges and their solutions. By bringing together national and international scholars, ICBSLP 2019 provided a common platform for these two entities to share ideas, build networks and work together for the success of this project.
